How do I upload my utility data?
Simply sign up, and follow the easy step-by-step instructions to upload your data. You can upload CSV or XML files downloaded from your utility website. See the "Synchronization" section for more information.
Is my data secure?
Yes, we use the latest encryption technologies to ensure your data is protected. Your privacy is our top priority. We do not ask or store your utility credentials.
Can I track multiple utilities?
Absolutely! Our service allows you to track gas, electricity, and water usage all in one place.

There is a 14-day complimentary trial, after which you must purchase or obtain credits to use the service.
Can I delete my data?
Yes, you can delete your data at any time. Your account data will be permanently and instantly deleted.

How do I synchronize my data?
You can synchronize your data with the Youtilitics service by uploading your data to the service. You can
upload CSV or XML files downloaded from your utility website.
If your utility supports Green Button™, you can link your account to the service and authorize Youtilitics
to download your usage data from your utility website on your behalf. This is a convenient and secure way to
access your usage data.
If your utility does not support Green Button™, it may be supported by the Youtilitics Sync Companion app .

Do you support Green Button™?
Yes, we do. You can download your data from Green Button™ and upload it to Youtilitics.
It is also possible to support automatic uploads from Green Button™ to Youtilitics using Green
Button Connect My Data®. Please contact support@youtilitics.com for more information.

What is Youtilitics Sync Companion?
Youtilitics Sync Companion is a free iPhone, iPad and Android app that you can optionally use to sync certain utilities with Youtilitics.
What is the purpose of Youtilitics Sync Companion?
Some utilities support Green Button™ to securely allow Youtilitics to download your usage data from your utility website on your behalf. This is a convenient and secure way to access your usage data.
However, some utilities do not support Green Button™. To remain secure, Youtilitics will never ask your utility credentials to download usage data.
Thus, the Youtilitics Sync Companion app is a free iPhone, iPad and Android app that will
connect every night to your utility's website and download your usage data. The data is then
uploaded to Youtilitics.
Your utility credentials are saved in the memory of your smartphone or tablet, and will never leave
it. It will never be sent to Youtilitics or any other third party.
What utilities are compatible with Youtilitics Sync Companion app?
For now, the following utilities can be synchronized daily with the Youtilitics Sync Companion app:
If you don't have an account with any of these utilities, the Youtilitics Sync Companion will not be able to perform any task for you. In that case, you don't need to install it.
Is there a cost associated with Youtilitics Sync Companion?
No, the companion app is free to download and use, regardless of your account on Youtilitics.
Can I use Youtilitics Sync Companion to monitor my usage and get alerts, statistics and more?
No, Youtilitics Sync Companion is not a replacement for the Youtilitics service. It is a companion app that only performs a single function: downloading your usage data from your utility website.
Is it mandatory to use Youtilitics Sync Companion?
No, it is not mandatory to use Youtilitics Sync Companion. You can use the Youtilitics service without
it.
If your utility supports Green Button™, the app cannot be used. If your utility does not support Green
Button™, you can continue to use the Youtilitics service without the app by manually downloading your
usage data from your utility website.
